Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Fifth Harmony is not letting Camilla Cabello’s departure from their group be of hindrance regarding their future performances as the singers of the girl group just announced that they will be performing as a foursome for the first time at the People’s Choice Awards.
The foursome also posted a photo of them officially only as four girls in the group that used to have five members. They took to Twitter to post a photo of them and captioned it with the words “Twenty Seventeen.” They also took to their Instagram page to say that they are performing for the People’s Choice Awards by posting a photo regarding their performance at the annual event. The photo was captioned with the following, “First performance of 2017, live at @peopleschoice !!! January 18th #PCAs.”
The four girls left in the Fifth Harmony girl group are Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jaurgeui , and Normani Kordei . The news about their first 2017 performance comes after it has been rumored that the foursome will be breaking up after Cabello’s departure.
In a statement regarding Cabello’s exit last December, the group said, “After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well.” Cabello was still in the Dick Clark New Year’s Rockin’ Ever performance but it was pre-taped before she decided to leave the group.
Cabello also released a statement saying that by 2017, she will be working on her own music. She added, “To our amazing fans, I will always be so thankful for the opportunities being in this group has given to me…Now I gotta walk the walk. I have always encouraged you to be fearless, to live your life in the name of love and to do what makes you happy. And scary as it is to take the leap, I am excited and full of joy because I know that no matter what happens, I am following my heart. I hope to see you on my journey.”
People’s Choice Awards will be this January 18, Wednesday, at 9 P.M. and will air on CBS.
