Tesla introduces ‘idle fee’ to boost Supercharger network availability

Palo Alto, CA, United States (4E) – As the world awaits the launch of Tesla’s Model 3, the electric carmaker is continuing to make several changes to its supercharger program.

In a blogpost on Friday, Tesla announced that it is introducing a “fleet-wide idle fee” that aims to increase supercharger availability.

Google’s global operations to run on 100 percent renewable energy by 2017

Mountain View, CA, United States (4E) – American tech giant Google said Tuesday that all its global operations – including its data centers and offices – will be powered by 100 percent renewable in 2017.

Urs Hölzle , Google’s senior vice president of technical infrastructure, wrote in a blog post that Google was now the world’s largest corporate buyer of renewable power, with commitments reaching 2.6 gigawatts (2,600 megawatts) of wind and solar energy.

All Tesla cars being produced now have full self-driving gear

Palo Alto, CA, United States (4E) – There’s no end to innovation in Tesla Motors’ factory located in Palo Alto, California.

In an announcement posted on its website Wednesday, the California-based automaker said all the vehicles being produced in its factory, including Model 3, will come with the highest level of autonomous driving.

‘Pokemon Go’ possibly launching player vs player battle system

Silicon Valley, CA, United States (4E) – New details about the possible player-versus-player battle system in “Pokemon Go” has been teased by the CEO of Pokemon.

“Pokemon Go” recently added the new update called “buddy system,” which lets players go monster-hunting while being accompanied by one of the Pokemon monsters that the players have on their inventory. However, that might not be the only update that “Pokemon Go” players will see in the coming weeks as it is believed that Niantic Labs is working on a player-versus-player battle system.
